Created by the Sagam Community Hospital in collaboration with the Massachusetts General Hospital ("MGH"), and the Kisumu Medical and Education Trust (KMET), the African Institute for Health Transformation (AIHT) strengthens the health system in the African region fostering the design and development of scalable innovations for health transformation in a resource-limited environment.

This prestigious, innovative, first of its kind in the African Region, African Institute for Health Transformation, is housed in the brand new state-of-the-art Emergency Department of the Sagam Community Hospital. AIHT provides an innovative environment for education, research, training, and knowledge transfer of cutting edge developments in medicine, with a focus on a patient/family/community-centered paradigm.
